How can I become pilot?
1. Find Flight Schools in Your Area
The first step to becoming a private pilot is to do some research on training options. Compare the programs offered by flight schools in your area and choose the one that best suits your aviation goals. Ask about the aircraft they use, their condition, where they are maintained, the type of insurance provided, and any other details related to the training process. Keep in mind that the entire training process will take approximately 2-3 months, during which you’ll cover 9 theoretical subjects and complete 45 flight hours.
2. Purchase a Demonstration Flight Hour
This is the easiest way to see if the information you received via email or phone matches reality. You’ll have the chance to experience what private flying is truly like. You’ll understand the flight procedures, learn how weather conditions are analyzed, how the aircraft is prepared for flight, about radio communications with the control tower, and much more. You’ll also get to learn the principles of flight from behind the controls and decide if the instructor, the aircraft, or the flying experience matches your expectations.
3. Obtain an EASA Medical Certificate (minimum Class 2)
Pilots must meet certain basic medical requirements to fly. If you want to pursue a career as a pilot, you’ll need to prove that you meet higher medical standards than those required for private or recreational pilots. The Medical Certificate is issued in "classes": Class 1 is for commercial pilots, and Class 2 is for private pilots.
